flower farm & arts collective

because every day is all there is.

We are a small-scale regenerative farm in Eugene, Oregon specializing in cut flowers for market, weddings, and events, as well as a selection of edible flowers. The joy and beauty flowers bring to a home or event is unmatched—a bouquet is a memory in the making.

In a 1977 interview, writer Joan Didion was asked why she ate with special occasion silver every day.

“Because every day is all there is,” she responded.

We believe in an ethos of every day. That’s why we use sustainable practices that keep the soil nutrient-rich for generations to come, why we grow beautiful blooms that honor our homes and loved ones, and it’s why we use our farm to uplift other eco-artists through our online store and urban farm workshops.

Thank you for being here. We hope you find beauty every day, too.

the valentines

We (Lily and Jamie Valentine) are a husband and wife team who spent six years as organic vegetable farmers before falling in love with flowers. We believe the joy flowers can bring to life is unmatched. Currently, about 80% of flowers sold in the U.S. are imported. Alongside many other small farms, we’re on a mission to change that.

Even when we’re working long days in the fields, our lives revolve around art. We’ve dabbled in many art practices—besides screen printing our merch, Lily makes most our ceramic vases and Jamie takes nearly all our photos—and along the way found incredible artists who care about sustainability and their craft. Our online store is a way of bringing them together, and our backyard art workshops at the urban farm allow us to share that practice with the community.
